These past four months exploring statewide office have been a whirlwind. Traveling across the state, I have spoken with people from every corner of Connecticut. I heard about your challenges and your fears, and I heard about your hopes and your dreams.
There is no doubt that these are challenging times, both for our nation and our state. But in talking to people from across Connecticut, I saw the immense strength and courage in our communities. I have no doubt that we are up to these challenges.
This campaign has never been about me, it has always been about how we can build a brighter future for our state and our country. At this time, I believe that the best thing that I can do as we work towards this goal is to run for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives. This decision is not the end of the road, it is simply a different path. I look forward to continuing the fight for progressive issues as we work together to lead our state forward.
I am deeply grateful for all of your support as we explored statewide office. This was always a grassroots movement, and you sustained us throughout this journey. Your dedication, energy, and passion is why I know that Connecticut has a brighter future ahead.
